Free download of 3 part India continent cards

by Honey Rowland 21 Comments

I’ve the cards back and without any errors!  My almost degree in Journalism is paying off in pre-editing skills!  🙂

But I am very sad… 🙁

No one shared their opinion about 1 huge download or breaking the cards down into sections.  So!  I’m not sharing now!

Hey look the kids get to whine & such why can’t I?! 🙂  But really, here is the download.  I’m doing it all as one big gumbled download for two reasons.  1.  I’m too tired to rearrange them.  My new motto is done is better than perfect & I’m really working on not being so anal.  (I bet that’s going to get a lot of spam & google hits.)  And 2….well…1 is all I can come up with for now so just make your own reason up & put it here.

Now, before you get to download (ahh..the captive audience.  I’ll be back from my power trip is 3.2.1…) I’m planning on making some more cards.  I’ve decided that what I can get from others isn’t what I want.  Yes, I know, layers of narcisism but I just like being thorough.  I understand Monte teachers are to spark but a spark is like the cliff notes version of some great classic…it’s not a bulleted list of one liners.  And, not that I don’t love all the great & amazing things out there.  I haven’t ‘redone’ anything, but all the continent/culture info seemed so lacking so I made my own & I hope you like them.

And, if you’re wondering why India?…You’re a short, chubby white woman (I’m out to disprove vegans are thin.  It’s all for science really.) that still sounds like banjo music should be playing when angry & can break a man’s nose like no tomorrow at the drop of a hat.  (Had a rough year at a Christian college…yeah…)  And you look like the most culture you’ve had is visiting the County Fair.  (ergh…image of couples with their hands in each other’s back pocket….dude..hold hands.  It seems so much more hygenic!) ON POINT GIRL!  I love the food, the colors, the food, the stories (Arabian Nights, Kama Sutra (seriously have you ever seen art from the first?  They’re beautiful…although…there is NO way some of that’s legal or good for your health! ;), etc.)  As a spiritual being I see all religions as the same.  No matter the name/s we all serve the same God.  Kinda “a rose by anyother name would smell as sweet” and the many dieties have always held some fascination for me.  Oh, and did I mention the yummy food?

So that’s why India.  I hope you enjoy them.  And if you don’t…well…phooey on you! 😉

Honey

About Honey Rowland

Organic since it was a dirty hippie word is an easy way to understand me. With 3 kiddos (7, 14, and 16) and one bearded hubby I raise chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, rabbits and Great Pyrenees livestock guardians on our organically ran mini farm in Ohio. A bull calf and heritage breed pigs have recently been added, along with an impending move into our less than 600 sq ft tiny home that's more and more off grid with each solar panel we buy.

Homeschooling, green living, self-sufficiency and natural parenting (but with yelling) is the norm here. Any skipping through the tulips tends to end with a face plant in chicken or duck poo but being a "glass half full" kind of gal I can smile 'cause the poo is organic and non-gmo! Hi, Honey,

You’ve done some great work on these cards. A few points, though: the name of India’s capital city is New Delhi – not Delphi (ancient Greek city/oracle), and Islam is one of India’s major religions, as 13% of India’s population is Muslim. In contrast only 2% are Sikh.

    Best wishes,
    Fatima
